Hands On Masterclass – The Art of French Indian Fusion

As part of Good Food Month, Chef Opel Khan will be hosting two Hands On masterclasses teaching “The Art of French Indian Fusion”. From chickpea dust, tomato water and olive snow to strawberry caviar, you will learn some deceptively easy tricks that you can replicate at home, as well as gaining an insight into the diversity and breadth of Indian-style food. This hands on workshop includes ingredients, and time to taste and chat about all the creations over a glass of wine (included) at the end.

Shoot the Chef Photography Competition: Beluga a Proud Winner

Beluga is proud to announce its winning place as a finalist in the SMH’s Shoot the Chef competition. Out of more than 500 entries, photographer Jon Bader’s image of Opel Khan as a ‘Shiva Chef’, from “Bollywood to Beluga”, was selected as one of 23 finalist images. Congratulations to both Jon Bader and Opel Khan for their fantastic work.
If you missed the program guide to this year’s Good Food Month where winning photos were published, not to worry, you can still see the Opel’s image in full size at Beluga or in various venues around Sydney.
